Inspired by LIFE!!! My blog was created to ensure Rashia’s 2016 AWESOME Summer of FUN is a success, by letting you – the readers – hold me accountable for getting out and doing things this summer. So, the plan is to get out there and LIVE! Do things that I want to do that interest me (at least somewhat) even if I don’t have anyone to do it with. For the full back story of how and why I came up with this idea, go to My BackStory page to read all about it. And don’t forget my commentary about the Beyoncé concert.

My true story in the making…
This is such a great idea & very inspiring! Would you be open to some of us joining you on some of your adventures?
Thanks for letting me know this blog was working ok. It’s a work in progress. Of course I would be open to people joining me, the more the merrier. I am also open to suggestions.
Congratulations to you for living life as you please :). Looking forward to hearing from you in your many colorful writings. Be blessed.
Thanks for your support. That means a lot coming from you… truly.
I would also encourage you to find the flowers popping up in the cracks of the sidewalk, beauty in the determination to exist.
You captured me with you bicycle story, you are a fighter and determined to succeed on your own skills and abilities. So, I look forward to your blogs as you not only share your adventures, but your take on them too. Yes, I know I am wordy – I look for the right word for what I want to get across. However, a good Haiku leaves the interpretation to the reader.
Thanks Pete. I think around the time we met is when I began to understand that about myself. I’m learning how to use this blog, but I look forward to adding additional posts.
WOW, just think not too long ago you did not even have a Facebook account…
I know right. Mama Katrina always say I’m extra. I guess I just took this social media thing and ran with it. After all… it is my first summer on the Facebook.
perhaps reader could also give you events happening that they would be interested in seeing you blog about.
I am all for it. That’s what this whole thing is all about. Feel free to give me ideas and share my blog with your friends and family.
I got to see your picture from the online NJ.com – “slide West Orange” – a lot of people talk stuff, but there you were doing what you said. And looking totally fabulous.

You can turn this into a book!!!
Perhaps one day there will be a book in here. For now, I am committed to keeping you guys up to date with my summer. It’s great practice if I do decide to turn this or anything else into a book. Thanks for your support.
BEYONCE! RASHIA! BEYONCE! RASHIA!
I have not doubt you both put on a great performance. Are you sure you were not sent to the show by BET, TMZ, etc. to do a story on the show? Reading your review made me feel as if I was there. Great job. I’m glad it was another wonderful show for you.
Thanks for the feedback. It didn’t take much to write that. I really just wrote how I felt. It really was AWESOME and AMAZING!
great blog Rashia..keep up the good work..your review of the Citi field show was excellent, my taste in concerts are a lil different (never really liked Big stadium shows) but reading your experience i may just consider it.. anyways keep up the good work..and who knows maybe we will run into each other at an event this summer..
Thanks Hina for taking the time to read it. It really means a lot. I prefer the big shows with one artist the whole time. Except Usher. His concert was horrible. (No offense Usher fans.) But I really tried to get my money back. Beyoncé is at MetLife in September… go… go… go… go.
I love your blog! You will have to keep me posted on what you do…if possible, I might join you on one or more of your experiences!!! BTW, I DO think that there is a book in you…You’re a very entertaining writer! :-)!!!
Thanks so much. This was literally one of those spur of the moment ideas. Literally. Please feel free to join me or make suggestions at any time. The offer for Great Adventure is still open…
Love it!!!
I know right!!! Make sure you stay tuned for more.
Your Beyonce review was well written and enjoyable to read. The reader can picture you as one of Bey’s dancers sent to be in the crowd to get and keep them moving. I have the luxury of a deep past with music in many forms and enjoy as many current (top 10) performers and several you would probably say, “who??”. I am inspired by your blog to experience and appreciate more – so, yesterday after the storm, I took a few pictures of clouds in a blue backdrop. Now, how’s that for excitement.
That’s super exciting Pete!!! What ever brings us joy is what we gotta do!!! Currently, this blog is bringing me joy. I am really enjoying this! Thanks for your comments… keep’em coming!
Hey Cousin!! I Love your energy, keep up the great work and continue to enjoy yourself. Looking forward to joining you on one of your excursions!
Hey Cousin Ish… I appreciate you taking the time to read it. This blog is making me do a bunch of coolstuff. But check the home page, it’s have my schedule feel free to join me at anytime. I’d love some family company.
